We’re a family of believers spreading the gospel in our city.
We are a young vibrant family of believers that come from diverse communities, culture and nationalities who are united by the grace of God. We are passionate about loving one another and shining the light of Christ in the world.
Our Values
We are family:
The NT authors often refers to Christians as “brothers and sisters” (Mar 3:35, Acts 21:17) and believers are encouraged to address God as “Father” (Matt 6:9)..
We are visible:
Jesus who is the Light of the world, in Matthew 5:14-16 calls the disciples to also be the light of the world. Here at Khanya, we want to be a streetlight in Johannesburg that shines bright.
We are genuine:
We hid the warnings of Jesus of hypocrisy, and we seek to live and behave Christ disciples to all people and at all places.
We love God:
Our best response to God’s love for us is to love God with all we are and seek to grow in loving him.
We love our city:
We express God’s love best by loving others (neighbour) as Jesus commanded us in Matt 22:39. We love people in our city by sharing the gospel and by imitating Christ example of doing good and caring for the broken.
We are joyful:
As the recipients of God’s love & salvation we have so much to be joyful over and a future that far outweighs any sacrifice or challenge we may face now.
We glorify God:
in everything we do as individuals or as corporate family of Jesus, we seek to glorify God
